BOTOX in the cosmetic world is used to relax muscles and soften the appearance of wrinkles that have formed from years of facial expressions. It has been used medically for years to treat a variety of neuromuscular disorders and was FDA approved for cosmetic use in 2002. BOTOX® is delivered in a series of small, almost painless injections, and is commonly used to treat frown lines between the eyes, forehead wrinkles, and crow's feet. Advanced techniques can provide eyebrow shaping and lifting, relax wrinkles above the lip, or lift the corners of the mouth.
XEOMIN®
In addition to offering BOTOX, Pure Dermatology is pleased to offer XEOMIN. Like BOTOX, XEOMIN® is used in facial aesthetics to temporarily improve the appearance of moderate to severe glabellar frown lines between the eyes (glabellar lines) in adults.
